Task Forces

Florian: Product line support/ splitting of the repos

Goal: prepare for sub-projects with the TLP

• CEA moved all repositories: extra or core papyrus is now clearly split
• Facilities for end user to install Papyrus easily

• Next year: what would be useful for better PL support? as for example features more decoupled from each other?
  • plan also in next year: Headless version of Papyrus for next year, but not yet started
  • Action: contact product management committee for participation: what is expected here?

• Repo cleared:
  • a few extra to be moved somewhere else, but discussions ongoing
  • Collaborative modeling repository, opened to EMF compare team
    • prepare the target platform on this repository
    • After Oxygen, bigger effort will be setup there

• Milestone 7:
  • Focusing efforts on feedback from ericsson
  • No more big evolution
  • New sequence diagram to be merged beginning on next week

Philip: DSML task force

• Work well progressing with students to help building products. DSL to describe small subset from UML
  • Target beginning of June
  • Wait for Papyrus IM to be migrated on Oxygen before investigation by students

Simon: Textual / graphical modeling

• Action: Simon to get back to interested stakeholders - since last meeting
  • Working with Ericsson, then will be extended to other full requirements
  • also get input from Per
  • No news since last meeting (no complete feedback from Ericsson)
    • projectional
    • replace xmi serialization (more intrusive), to be put in the focus

Per: Dependency management, dependencies from Papyrus

• no progress on that topic

Release train for Papyrus

• Neon.3 released
  • Some regular release after Neon.3?
    • to be investigated if required, but not required/planned yet.
• Oxygen
  • M7 - mid may

• Action: Florian to organize an event on Papyrus architecture workshop focusing on web? Hopefully on June, @EclipseCon France?
  • Focusing on Oxygen currently.

  • Not sure to be on the EclipseCon France, still to be discussed.
