Aperi Development Status Meeting 03/05/07

Aperi Wiki Home Aperi Meetings Aperi Development Meetings

Attendees:

Brocade (John Crandall), IBM (Brenda Haynes, Craig Laverone, Dave Wolfe, Hans Lin, Khan Tasinga, Prasenjit Sarkar, Rodica Ciurea, Simona Constantin, Tom Guinane)

Minutes:

  • Project Leader Notes (Ted)
  • Release Engineer Notes (Todd) - Todd could not attend the meeting, but left these notes:
    • Legacy build - done. Hans raised a few concerns (per our emails this weekend). I will continue to look into these problems and look to resolve them. So there might be a defect or two, but the initial line item is complete. The only other thing I need to do here is send out documentation of the design and usage of the new build.
    • Integrating the RCP GUI build. This is not complete. Rodica wants to get a few answers from Dave concerning BIRT. She is going to get that information to me today and we'll continue from there. The question she has for Dave has to do with some recent changes made in the GUI design, so they do not pertain to issues we could have resolved weeks ago.
    • I leave for vacation next Monday, for two weeks. I expect to have the build stable and reliable this week, prior to my departure.
  • Aperi Downloads
    • There is a problem with the Eclipse download counting mechanism. Bugzilla 173144 was opened to address it. Until this problem is resolved, we are not running any download statistics.
  • Project Schedule:
    • Latest Schedule Updates made in the file.
    • Dave has an updated GUI schedule with new tasks.
      • It will require assistance from two other team members in order to complete in the current Release 0.3 timeframe.
      • Taking out Report Designer and Viewer for now – will pick up later this month
      • Test should be able to handle the changes – Hans confirmed.
      • Will need Chris to evaluate to see if ID can work with this.
      • Tom will update the master schedule with these changes and put out an append in aperi-dev for the team to look at and review
  • IDVT
    • Test Status
    • Hans has posted a new S-curve for the remaining test duration.
    • Currently slightly ahead of schedule
    • Still have a few build issues. Hans is working with Ted and Todd to resolve.
    • Also have DB2 bug 172220 that Prasenjit is working on
  • ID
    • Release Notes
